The TECHNOZYM HIT IgG ELISA is a chromogenic test for the determination of heparin-
dependent antibodies of the IgG subtype in human plasma or serum. Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) is the development of thrombocytopenia (low platelet counts) due to the administration of the anticoagulant heparin.
