Controle Plasma AK

For use in quality control of Prothrombin Time (PT) tests from Axis-Shield PoC.
Control Plasma AK is prepared from plasma from patients stabilised on long–term oral anticoagulant therapy. Therefore the factors of the prothrombin complex (II, VII, X) in Control Plasma AK have the same coagulation activity as the plasma from patients on oral anticoagulant therapy. It is especially useful for the quality control of Thrombotest TM and Nycotest® PT, since separate reference ranges are established for these products.
