Control Plasma NormalTo be used for the quality control of coagulation tests from Axis-Shield PoC. Control Plasma Normal and Control Plasma Abnormal are prepared from freshly drawn human blood. Control Plasma Normal is designed to be used as control in the normal range of coagulation activity. Control Plasma Abnormal is produced by a combination of absorption steps to give a reproducible abnormal low coagulation activity. The Control Plasmas are especially useful for the quality control of ThrombotestTM, CephotestTM and Nycotest® PT, since separate reference ranges are established for these products. |
