Thrombin Reagent

The standardised Thrombin Reagent contains 20 International Units (IU) bovine thrombin per vial.

Thrombin Reagent is used for the determination of the Thrombin Time (TT) in order to check:
• the fibrinogen level (fibrin degradation products)
• heparin therapy
• fibrinolytic therapy
