Pefakit PiCT Controls LMWHControl plasmas to confirm test results reliability of Pefakit PiCT (Prothrombinase induced Clotting Time, REF 505- 01). Pefakit PiCT is a plasma based functional assay for the determination of anticoagulant activity based on FXa and/or FIIa inhibition. Anticoagulant activity of low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) in a blood sample can be read from a standard curve established using Pefakit PiCT Calibrators LMWH [REF 505-12], and is based on clotting times measured. This control kit contains plasmas with specified LMWH anticoagulant activities calibrated against WHO LMWH standard. |
