APC-R Homozygous Control

Control plasma used to confirm the resistance of factor V (FV) against activated protein C induced by the FV Leiden Mutation (FV:Q506) in methods for determining the functional
phenotype of this resistance.

Pefakit® APC-R FVL Homozygous Control comprises plasma from a genotyped donor with homozygous factor V Leiden mutation (FV:Q506). The genotype of the blood
donor was tested and checked by PCR. The control is intended to be used in combination with
Pefakit® APC-R Factor V Leiden (REF 502-01), a plasmabased functional assay to determine the resistance against activated protein C caused by the factor V Leiden mutation, or with an equivalent APC resistance test.
